Intricate designs of ancient Inka culture were woven into this small mesa cloth for inner bundles or a travel mesa. Q'ero women use these smaller mesas filled with coca leaves and tucked into the waistbands of their skirts. This one was designed and woven by Q'ero elder Nicolasa Gerillo Apaza of Hapu Q'ero village. Her husband, Ignacio, was a long time president of the Five Q'eros Nations. 14 x 13 in. 35 x 33 cm.
